2018 Maarten Luther wandeltocht 10 km

An annual event in Amerongen, the Maarten Luther wandeltocht for anyone who likes walking. For the die-hards there are 50 and 60 km trails signposted. For the less ambitious walkers there is also a 5 km, 10 km and 15 km trail. They also offered the opportunity to combine trails as you like.

All trails led to Amerongen castle and its beautiful grounds.
Several check points were in place, two of which in churches: the Saint Andries church and the Andries church (see waypoint).
Among the highlights were Achterweg and Landgoed Zuijlenstein with the coach house which now houses the Il Sogno restaurant.

All in all a well-organised event in a fantastic setting, starting from the Berghuis restaurant near the sports fields.
