Park and meet at the B1062 lay-by close to Homersfield.
Head SW towards the village. Turn left, SE, along Church Lane. Head SE into woodland, lake left.
At St. Cross Road, turn right, west, and soon left, south, into Mendham Lane.
Follow Mendham Lane south for 470 metres. Ignore the turning to the left.
Turn right off the tarmac onto a woodland path, SW.
At the meadow, cross the stile and head SW, fence left (or right to avoid a broken stile).
At Downs Farm Lane, head SE across stiles for 50 metres past the farm buildings.
Turn right, SW, and follow the meadow, boundary left.
The path bends left, south. Continue trees right to the gate in the field corner. Go through.
Head SW across a small open meadow. Cross into the next meadow, SW. Continue SW back to the tarmac.
Turn right, west and head to Mendham. The road bends left, SW.
At the cross roads, turn right, west, into The Street. Head past the Sir Alfred Munnings, refreshemts.
At the pub, the road bends right, NW and soon left, west again. Cross the Waveney into Norfolk.
Soon after another smaller bridge, turn right, NW, diagonally across a field.
Back at tarmac, head right, north, along Low Road for 75 metres.
Turn left, west, uphill, hedge right. Continue roughly west. The hedge swaps to the left.
At a field corner, the path bends right, north, and meets another. Turn left, west, boundary left.
After 250 metres turn right, NW, across an open field and converge with the A143.
At Green Lane, turn right, east, for 140 metres to a farm entrance (avoid).
Turn left, NE, diagonally across an open field. At the farm, bear left, north, trees left.
Continue north between fields for 350 metres. Turn right, east, towards Redenhall.
The path bends left, NE, towards woodland.
Bear right, NE, along the woodland path. Emerge in the churchyard.
Head left and right, past the church and leave the churchyard NE of the church.
Cross the old A143 and head north along Church Close.
Cross the new A143 and head left then right, NW, along Church Lane.
Ignore the left turn towards Harleston and Starston.
100 metres later at houses turn right, NE, hedge right on a footpath. Continue NE on a farm track.
At woodland near the end of this lane, turn left, north, through a belt of tall poplars.
At the field, turn right, east for a few paces, then left, north, woodland right.
Cross a sleeper bridge through a gap and bear right, NE, woodland, right.
Turn right, east, along Stony Lane and follow this to Tunbeck Road.
With a right left kink, cross Tunbeck Road and head east, past seats, then east hedge left.
Cross a bridge. The path bends left, north and soon right, east again.
At Station Road, turn right, SE. Head down the hill to the A143. Tea Rooms, refreshments.
Turn right, SE, and cross the A143. Continue SE for a few more paces then left, south, onto the B1062.
Follow the B1062 for 170 metres and turn right, SE, through a picnic area.
Cross the oldest concrete bridge in the UK and head past the Black Swan, refreshments.
Bear left at the village sign and head NE pack to the lay-by.
Head SW towards the village. Turn left, SE, along Church Lane. Head SE into woodland, lake left.
At St. Cross Road, turn right, west, and soon left, south, into Mendham Lane.
Follow Mendham Lane south for 470 metres. Ignore the turning to the left.
