Descripción del itinerario
This is the Adonis nature trail, one of the 4 trails in Akamas forest.
I started at the main entrance to the botanical garden where you will find the map of this and Aphrodite trails. From there it goes along the main road until reacing the main uphil climb. From there it goes throught forest.
There is an information point where you can connect with the Smigies trail. At the point where it meets with Aphrodite trail are ruins of the Pyrgos tis Rigenas. From there the common path climbs down the mountain with an excellent view on the bay.
After I went down I also walked through botanical garden wisiting Baths of Aphrodite.
Initial part is asphalted road, then it's gravel roads and rocky trails.
There are some shaded parts of the trail, but mostly it's in the open.
There are signs for trail and plants, but not in all necessary places.
