Loop hike from Akbulak to Kumbel.
The start of the hike is reachable by bus 12 from the city center of Almaty.
You need to get off at Akbulak stop, which is one stop before the last one (Medeu)
From there you go back a little bit and take the first road to the left.
Then the path is straightforward with many signs leading to the right direction

Thanks Simone for posting this route! I enjoyed it, even though the trail was very muddy, icy and slippery when i went. If i would do it again under these conditions, i would only do the right hand side trail up and down from Kok Zhailau, as it is less steep.
