Descripción del itinerario
Walk starts from the Buttermere car park and along the right hand side of the lake, heading to Fleetworth Pike. Cross Peggy’s bridge and past Gatesgarth Farm. Then head up the Honiston Pass until you seen the path on your right heading up Fleetwith Pike. You’ll pass the white cross which was erected because of the loss of a young lady who fell descending a steep crag. The path up is good and clearly marked. However, be aware there are small sections of the path which will require hand to rock, although this is not classed as a graded scramble. From the summit head to your left for Honiston crag or to your right & down for Dubs Hut and Dubs quarry. This route takes you down to Dubs Hut and quarry. Then cross the beck and head around to Warnscale head bothy. Then follow the path down back to Gatesgarth Farm, back across Peggy’s Bridge and back to Buttermere.
