For something completely different, try this 13km paddle/ hike which will take you to the WW2 Forts on the northern section of Bribie Island. You could use a 4wd and head north along Bribie Island Beach 20km from Woorim. We used kayaks from Golden Beach Hire Caloundra, paddled 600m to the tip of Bribie and then walked 6km south along the stunning white beach to check out the remnants for the old WW2 structures. Its so interesting seeing these old concrete army buildings that are being buried slowly beneath the sand. There is also a short track, behind the sand dunes, where you will find evidence of even more old buildings. Just be careful not to go at a high full tide as it can make the paddling and beach walking extremely hard.
