Saubadia is a "new town" created in the 1930's and part of the Fascist reclamation of the Pontina Marshes. The lay out and all public buildings are designed by four young architects Gino Cancelotti, Eugenio Montuori, Luigi Piccinato, Alfredo Scalpelli. The tour includes the City hall, the church SS Annuziata, Casa del Fascio, hospital, and the beautiful former postoffice esigned by Angiolo Mazzoni
