Descripción del itinerario
Climb of Monte Legnone (2610 m) starting near Rifugio Roccoli Lorla (~1450 m). Clear path along the mountain ridge. Near the top, at a few places, some scrambling is in order (some metal cabling has been provided). Excellent views across the Central and Occidental Alps up to Matterhorn and Mont Blanc in the distance. Apart from the Rifugio at the start, no catering along the path. Starting point at end of asphalt road from Tremenico, where you can park your car (and pitch a tent). I observed a flock of chamois near the top.

Start Climb Monte Legnone
At the end of the asphalt road from Tremenico there is a small parking on grass near the mountain refuge Roccoli Lorla. It looks like you can also pitch a tent there.

Summit Monte Legnone
The summit is 2710 meters high and the highest peak in the Lecco Pre-Alps. There is a large cross on top and Maria statue with commemorative plaque.
