Descripción del itinerario
Waveney Ramblers followed this route in March 2019. Start from Green Lane, Ditchingham and head southeast. At the main road head northeast along the A143. The trail soon veers left and follows the disused railway line. Back at the A143, head left, northwest, to the old Yarmouth Road. Turn right, northeast and head past the Artichoke inn for 0.4 miles. Turn left into Willow Lane and head northwest. After large barns, turn left and immediately right onto a narrow footpath. Head northwest passing Broome Place with its impressive chimneys. Turn left along Rectory Road. At a dip, turn left, south, into woodland. The track meanders and later, bends right, southwest, up to Thwaite Road. Cross over and head roughly west, passing Allhallows Convent. At Baker's Lane, turn left, southeast. Keep on this heading all the way to the common. Enter the common and turn right to follow the north perimeter back to the car park.
