I hiked on a sunny day in december. Spectacular views, once you're up high and walking over the crest from Monte Pellecchia to Pizzo di Pellecchia.
For me, this hike qualifies as moderately difficult for three reasons:
- steep hike towards Monte Pellecchia
- no path to go from Monte to Pizzo Pellecchia. Takes about half an hour. You need to 'read' the crest - not hard if you're familiar with mountains, but still
- hard to find a path for the descent down from Pizzo di Pellecchia. Again, not impossible, stay right on the slope (maybe a bit more than I did), but still. Panorama on sunny day really spectacular.

Sun and leaves
The sun on those leaves - foto is nice, reality is far more beautiful. It was December 12, and still leaves on many trees - something I'll have to investigate.
