Descripción del itinerario
MacRitchie Trail is a jungle trail that circles round MacRitchie Reservoir. It is a walking only trail. There is a viewing tower along the trail called Jelutong Tower. You can climb up and be on top of the canopy. Part of the trail/bridge is actually at the very edge of the reservoir. The whole length is 10.5KM. There are mileage marks that show the trail as yellow color.
There are other trails of different length all indicated on the "mile stone" by color bands. This route did not follow the yellow trail exactly. On the southern end, after the golf course, turn into Chemperai Trail instead. It is more scenic there as it goes over the edge of the water.

There's toilet/waterpoint midway, beautiful scenery especially the golf course..
And if you run here early 7am there will e very cooling fresh air blowing at you while you run

the boardwalks are very nice, some climbs are hard due to the irregular stairs. Overall a nice walk
