Descripción del itinerario

A beautiful autumn day - clear blue sky and not too hot. We went up Waterfall Gorge (on the eastern side), over to the slab for snack and then on upward to the summit. Back down to the small lookout on the western side just above the top of Palm Gorge then we cam down the SE Ridge track. Glorious!!!

View to top from the SLAB

The slab is a great place for a break on the way up. Only <10min walk from coming out the top of Waterfall Gorge. Great views over Lake Moogerah and to the south and up to the summit.

Junction

Where the track from the slab joins with the track from Palm Gorge - just below the summit

A short (70m) diversion from the main track just above Palm Gorge. Has lovely views to the main range escarpment and filtered views to the south west.

Junction of SE Ridge and Waterfall gorge

Striking tree

Right adjacent to the junction of the SE Ridge track and the Waterfall Gorge track - majestic tree was just catching the sun and shone with a light orangey hue.
