Lincoln Wreck
The Wreck Of The Lincoln Bomber In the early hours of April 9, 1955 an RAAF Avro Lincoln Bomber crashed into the side of South East Queensland's highest mountain. The plane was en route from Townsville to Brisbane transporting a sick baby when it crashed into the side of Mt Superbus and exploded.
