SR Loop - Passo 2 Santi Mt. Fabei - Mt. Tecchione-Vergastrelli-Pradeschei-2 Santi

Start

You start from the parking lot at Passo dei 2 Santi. You go through the restaurant (rifugio) on the right and the shops on the left.

Few meter and you reach the base of the ski runs. On the right is the kids ski run; you keep left and you will see the ski lift, head in that direction going uphill

This is the beginning of the track going uphill as soon as you pass the ski lift

Intersection 1

This intersection is difficult to see as it is not well marked. You have to look on the left and search for it since the signs (next pictures) are actually in the woods.

On the left (going uphill) there is the mark for the E1 trail. Move further into the woods.

As you enter the woods you will see these signs. Go in the direction of Foce dei Tre Confini

There is a faint trail going on the right while the mail track is leaning towards the left. It is very faint and not very well marked.

The trail sometimes is not visible and you have to look for faint red markings (mainly on rocks)

There is a track, see marking on tree, going uphill. Stay on the trail going downhill

Intersection 5

You come to a junction; the track on the right (uphill) goes back up to Mt. Fabei while the one on the left goes to Vergastrelli (downhill - see also Loop 2 Santi, Capre morte). Take the trail left to Vergastrelli. The track is marked by yellow triangles
