Descripción del itinerario
Lovely hike though rolling hills and pastures with a stretch along the coast path. We left the car in Bridport (public toilets opposite the pay and display area - very convenient!) and then headed west along the Monarch’s Way towards Chideock. Stopped for a pub lunch at the George Inn and then turned south to Doghouse Hill to join the coastal path back to West Bay. The final stretch to Bridport was a pleasant walk along the river - the footpath starts at the back of the caravan park, not well-signposted at the entrance.
