There are two entrances: North and south
The south entrance has as great scenery nice drive through meadows, barely any mud at July 23th 2017.
The next section to the falls is long and rocky, no stock vehicles is recommended, several river crossings (about twenty) is required to get to the falls.
Once you get to the falls you can go to the upper pool or just stay at the bottom.
We exited through the north entrance, a winch and good tires are necessary for this section. A section of this trail is heavily damage, winching is almost necessary to cross it.
Trucks:
- 100 series land cruiser (3 inch suspension, 34 inch bfg ko2, rear locker, full arb front with 10000 lbs winch).
- FJ cruiser (3 inch suspension, 33 inch duratrac, front and rear bumpers, 8000 lbs inch and rear locker).
Note:
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH, WE PICK UP ABOUT TWELVE BEER CANS FROM THE UPPER AND LOWER FALLS.
DO NOT DO UNNECESSARY RIVER CROSSINGS, PLEASE FOLLOW THE TRAIL.

Good info, thanks!
We made it to Ruby Falls yesterday. What a thrilling adventure. Who knew it would take 3 hours to travel 20km. Thanks for the help finding the falls! Amazing!
