Jebel Jais True Summit. Ras al Khaimah

Summer night hike on a full moon night starting from Viewing deck park to Jebel Jais True Summit. Ras al Khaimah.

As we hiked at night, I have attached a few pictures from my previous day hike on the same trail.
This time the phone recorded 60 meters less than the actual highest point value of 1935 meters summit of Jais.

Jais View Deck Park to Jebel Jais 1935 Mtr Summit Hike via Ghaf trail.
8 KMs long One way Walk over 820 meters Elevation gain.
Round trip 16+ Kms.

Hikers are charged Aed 7 as entry fees that also gives access to car park, washrooms and the view deck park..
The initial section until the UAE Flag on VDP summit is bit steep, but well marked.
the whole trail is recognizable, no chance to lose the way.

The views from the top sections are impressive of The RAK city, Ghalilah valley, and other view points.

Further you will reach a gradual ascent trail and it goes via the 1484 Puro restaurant and you can have refreshments there too.
Further you can see the Ghalilah dam trail on your left side and the Dafalas village.

Further on you will soon reach 1640 mtrs Ghaf summit with a summit marker, just below the RAK zipline mountain of Jebel Raharah.

You hike further on upwards, you pass by old observation deck area, Wing suit jump base, the 1770 camping area, and soon you will reach the royal area in the left side.

Towards the top, You get to see many Border stones between UAE and Oman on the way.
Keep Safe and carry your Legal Documents as there can be questions and inspections on the way.
Take all Hiking Precautions in terms of Safety, food and water.
Do not Cross any borders.
